MUSIC GROUP CALLING

Do you like singing or play an instrument?  Anyone interested in joining this new group at St Cath's please speak to Clare Griffiths or Devi Forsythe.

EVENTS HAPPENING IN MAY

Families at 4

Our new monthly event at St Catherine's at Sunday at 4pm.  The first one is taking place on Sunday 20th May.  It is a chance to spend time thinking about God, for all the family with puppets, quiz, songs followed by drinks and cakes.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Good Question

The next Good Question takes place on Monday 21st May and runs between 2-3pm in the church lounge.  Our curate Derek Marshall will be answering any questions on anything related to Christianity.

Ladies Breakfast

The next Women's breakfast takes place on Saturday 26th May at 9am in the lounge.  It is a continental breakfast and drinks,  The topic is "Women of the Bible".  For more information please see information leaflet in the lounge.

EVENTS IN JUNE

Peter Chamberlin's Ordination

Peter Chamberlin's ordination will take place on Saturday 2nd June at St John's Hartford, by Bishop Rod Thomas.  It also starts at 7pm.

Close Encounters

Our next Close Encounters course runs for 4 weeks and starts on Tuesday 5th June at 8pm.

WGP EVENT

This event is all about 'Real Lives'.  We will hear testimonies of local people and is on Wednesday 6th June at 7:30pm and will take place at All Saints Thornton Hough.

June Prayer Meeting

The next prayer meeting will be on Thursday 7th June at 7:30pm in the lounge.

Saltmine Theatre

The Saltmine Theatre is doing a production about Martin Luther on Friday 8th June at 7:30pm.  The tickets are £5,  More details can be found from Cathy.

Men's Breakfast

Please note that the breakfast planned for 9th June at St Catherines will now be at St Stephens and between 9:30-11am.  Keith McIntosh will be speaking about his 23 years on the staff at MUFC and will speak about 'Football and/or Faith'  Tickets are £4 where there will be drinks and cooked food.
