OVERSEAS MISSIONS

Crosslinks

For many years now as a Church we have actively and prayerfully supported the worldwide work of Crosslinks. Formerly known as The Bible Churchmen's Missionary Society founded in 1922.

Our new missionary partners to whom give financial & prayer support are:

 Elias Nvoju from Tanzania.

Although Elias grew up in a Christian home, joined the choir and got involved with other young people at his church in the Ruvuma Diocese, he didn't become a Christian until he was 20 when he responded to the word of God being preached in his church. Since then God has enabled Elias to live the Christian life and continue singing in the choir. Elias wants to continue serving God and feels called to preach and teach others. He wants to grow in his knowledge of the Bible and how to teach God's word, so he is attending a three year Ordination course at Amani Christian Training Centre.

John Mapunda also from Tanzania.

John too grew up in a church in the Ruvuma Diocese. He didn't become a Christian until after he was critically ill with malaria and saw his recovery as God's grace in his life. He has continued to experience God's grace and mercy since then. John feels called to become a pastor and to serve God in the church. He also sees the need to understand God's word in greater depth, preach the Gospel and teach others how to grow in the Christian faith. To do this effectively he has joined a three year Ordination course at the Amani Christian Training Centre.
