The Parish has three main aims, which are explained below.  They are:

 Worship.                  Growth.                  Service.

Worship
The first aim of the church is to provide a lively and welcoming worship centre for the people within her boundaries.

Growth
The second aim of the parish is growth in holiness and in numbers. In all we do we seek to increase our awareness of the presence and power of God in our own lives and in the community.

Preparation is offered to those who come to the church for baptism and marriage.

Christianity Explained courses are held for those who are exploring their faith or who wish to have a refresher course.

SEAN courses have been run for several years now and are greatly appreciated by those who attend.

There are four further house groups that meet on a regular basis to learn more of God and His love for us as they look at the Scriptures together.

Teaching encourages many members of the church to take an active part in its ministry, in worship and prayer, in leading groups and supporting pastoral work.

Community Awareness
Members of the congregation are encouraged to witness to their faith in their home and working environment and to play a full and active part in community projects with some members of the congregation taking an active role in local politics.

We have strong links with the local school with our Children's worker going into the school to take assemblies, to teach the Scriptures and to help with Literacy work. Our Children's worker also goes in to the school once each week to run a Luncheon Club during which time the children are taught, in fun ways, God's plan of salvation for them

Classes from the school also visit our Church building where they take part in inter active groups in which they learn about how we worship whenever we meet.
