As we have already said in our Parish Statement the first aim of the church is to provide a lively and welcoming worship centre for the people within her boundaries.

Parents and Children are always welcome to our church services. During the morning there are special activities at Rock Solid for children aged 6-14 years. For the four & five year olds we have Little Acorns. We also have a creche for those under 4.

The needs of the people of the parish are brought in prayer to God at all services. We also pray for the healing of nations and people.

We have produced and published our own user friendly version of Common Worship services which suit our preferred form of worship for

Morning & Evening Prayer. Holy Communion. Marriage & Baptism .

It is easy to follow & participate in the services as we project the words of the songs etc on a large screen. We have an efficient audio system with a loop facility for those who are hard of hearing and have the appropriate hearing aid

Our Morning Service commences at 11.00am.

Sunday at 7pm Evening Cafe-style Worship

This is a little different from what you may have experienced before. People assume that a Church service will either be a prayer book evening prayer service, or a swinging from the chandeliers rock concert. This is neither!

It is an informal meeting that focuses on learning from God’s word and how to live it out in practice. Sometimes there is music, sometimes not, depending on who is available to play a keyboard, piano or guitar. There is an opportunity to ask questions or comment on what we are discussing. Often we even look at two quite different topics, one superficially and one in a little more detail, lead by different people. There is even food too!

You won’t be asked to do anything embarrassing, just come with your brain and your heart ready!
