Kids

We have loads going on for kids in the local area! If you go to Mersey Park Primary School, you should now know Charlotte, our Young People and Families' Worker, who now comes in for assemblies and lessons. We also have plenty going on both on Sundays and during the week. If you're interested in any of the groups, you can either get in touch or just turn up!

All our groups are run by dedicated teams of leaders who have been police checked under the CRB/DBS schemes. If you have any questions about child protection and how we look after your children, please get in touch.

Sunday Mornings

Little Acorns – age 3 to year 2

Rock Solid – Years 3 to 6

Pathfinders – Years 7 to 11

During our Sunday morning services children and youth will go out to their groups and learn from the bible about God and Jesus and his plan for us.

Little Acorns and Rock solid follow a bible series and do activities and crafts to help them remember the bible story.

The Pathfinders look at the same bible passages as the adults in the service.

For toddlers there is a crèche area set up at the side of church (ask for details). We don’t mind a bit of noise from our younger ones but if little ones need to be taken out during the service parents and carers are free to go into the lounge with them alongside Little Acorns and Rock Solid.

Cheeky Monkeys

Cheeky Monkeys is our toddler group for pre-school children and their carers. The group meets every Tuesday morning during term time from 10:00am - 11:30am. There is opportunity for the children to play and interact with other children and their carers, and also a chance for a hot drinks, biscuits and a chat. The children have a sit down toast time, story and singing time and finish the morning with craft and painting.

Explore

Explore is a group for children in primary school (F2 to year 6). We meet from 5.45-7pm on Tuesdays during term time for fun, games and to explore the Bible together.

Years 5 to 9 Youth Group

5-9 Youth is a group for children in years 5 to 9. We meet from 5.30-6:45pm on Fridays during term time for fun, games and to explore the Bible together.

NATE - For 14s to 18s

We have a group on Friday nights run bi-weekly for discipling those who are year 10 to 13/college. Each week we look at passages from the Bible, discuss what it means and how it should impact our lives and pray together. The group is held at church, 7pm to 8pm.
